1. Who We Are

ExamReady ("we", "us", "our") is a free online toolkit available at examready-india.netlify.app that provides photo resizing, PDF compression, document scanning and other utilities to help Indian competitive exam aspirants prepare their form fillup documents.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be completely clear about what we do not collect:

• Photos and images — your passport photos, signature scans and document images are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript Canvas API. They are never uploaded to our servers.
• PDF documents — your Aadhaar PDF, marksheets, certificates and any other PDFs processed by our tools are never uploaded anywhere.
• Date of birth — the date of birth you enter in the Aadhaar PDF Unlocker is used only locally to attempt PDF decryption. It is never transmitted or stored.
• Aadhaar number — we do not read, extract or store your Aadhaar number from any uploaded document.
• Account information — ExamReady does not require registration, login or any account creation.

3. Information That May Be Collected Automatically

When you visit ExamReady, some basic technical information may be collected automatically by our hosting provider (Netlify) and analytics services:

• IP address — collected by Netlify for security and abuse prevention purposes
• Browser type and version — used for compatibility and debugging
• Pages visited and time spent — collected via Google Analytics (if enabled) to understand which tools are most useful
• Referring URL — to understand how users find ExamReady
• Device type — mobile, tablet or desktop, for responsive design optimisation

This information does not include any photos, documents or personal identification information. It is aggregated and anonymised.

4. Cookies

ExamReady may use the following types of cookies:

• Essential cookies — required for the website to function (e.g. Netlify CDN)
• Analytics cookies — Google Analytics cookies to understand traffic patterns (anonymised)
• Advertising cookies — if Google AdSense is enabled, Google may place cookies to show relevant advertisements

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect the functionality of our tools.

5. Google AdSense & Advertising

ExamReady may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google AdSense uses cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site and other sites on the internet. 6. Third-Party Services

ExamReady uses the following third-party services for tool functionality:

• PDF.js (Mozilla) — loaded from Cloudflare CDN for PDF rendering. No data is sent to Mozilla.
• PDF-lib — loaded from Cloudflare CDN for PDF creation and manipulation. No data is sent to any third party.
• Google Fonts — fonts (Syne, DM Sans) are loaded from Google's servers. Google may log font requests.
• Netlify — our hosting provider. Subject to Netlify's Privacy Policy.

7. Data Security

Because ExamReady processes all files locally in your browser and does not transmit any document data to external servers, there is no risk of your photos or documents being intercepted in transit or stored in a database. The security of your files depends on the security of your own device and browser.

8. Children's Privacy

ExamReady is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has used our services, please note that no personal data is collected by our tools.

9. Your Rights

Since ExamReady does not store any personal data from your tool usage, there is no personal data to access, correct or delete. If you have submitted a contact form query, you may request deletion of that information by emailing us.
