How to Merge Marksheets and Category Certificates into a Single PDF

While SSC and IBPS mostly require just a photo and signature, higher-level exams like UPSC, State PSCs, and Document Verification (DV) stages demand proof of eligibility. Portals often ask you to upload a "Single PDF containing your 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet, and Category Certificate."

Step 1: Convert Photos to PDF

If you took photos of your documents using your phone, they are currently JPG or HEIC files. You cannot simply merge images together; they need to be PDF pages first.

Step 2: Merge Existing PDFs (Like Aadhaar)

If you already have PDF versions of your documents (like an e-Aadhaar downloaded from UIDAI), you can skip Step 1 and combine them directly.

Note: If your Aadhaar PDF is password protected, you must unlock it first using our Aadhaar Unlocker.

Step 3: Compress to Fit the Limit

Most portals have a strict limit of 1MB or 2MB for the final consolidated PDF. If your merged file is too large, drop it into the PDF Compressor. Select the "Balanced" or "Small file" preset to dramatically shrink the file size while keeping the text readable for the examiners.
